April Phone Pics

Riley decided it was time for Boston to try his first Oreo Milkshake.
As you might guess, he LOVED it!

Kisses for mommy!!

Boston was chewing on his toes, so I got my phone out to take a picture.
As soon as he saw the camera pointed at him, he turned, put on a big grin and said "cheese".
I have no idea where he learned this, but it was hilarious!
So much for the allegedly childproof covers on the knobs to the stove.

Play hard, sleep hard.

Boston has also started blaming Riley when he causes trouble...

Easter Fun!

Boston loves anything that is round or even somewhat shaped like a ball. He loves to put things in baskets i.e. the laundry basket, toy basket, sock basket. So, we thought he would be a champion Easter egg hunter. We were wrong. He had lots of fun picking up eggs, then putting them in other kid's baskets. Once he figured out there was stuff inside the eggs, he wanted to pick them up one at a time, check out what was inside, play with or eat it, then eventually move on to another egg. He did however, love wearing his Easter basket on his head :).
Bucket head!
Easter weekend we went to southern Utah for a camping trip with Riley's family. Boston loved having grandpa, grandma, all of the kids, and even a few doggies to play with. He was filthy, worn out, and very happy by the time we decided to head to Enterprise.
Relaxing and recharging in the shade after he stole his mama's water bottle.

Camping family photos.

18 Months!!!

At 18 months old Boston weighs 26 pounds and is 32.5 inches tall.
He has tons of teeth, and is getting so much hair that he will soon need his first haircut!
He is a little parrot, copying everything we say, good and bad. His first swear word was sh*t, repeated on command after an uncle told him to say it. A few of my favorites from him are "monny"- mommy, "Ohhh Noo!"-usually said with lots of enthusiasm, "da-wish-ish"-delicious, and "scuse me"- excuse me, this one is usually said as he is running into you.
He loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, shouts the name of each character as the appear on the screen ("puto" -Pluto is my favorite), calls for tutles whenever the characters do, and can hotdog dance with the best of them.
He still loves to play ball, I hear "hoop", "I dunk it", and "base-a-ball" millions of times each day.
He has also started singing along with the radio, which I love! It is so cute! His favorites are "Yet it GOOOOO"- Let it go from the Frozen soundtrack, "Happy" by Pharrell Williams, "Moster" with Eminem and Rihanna (he totally tries to rap, it cracks me up) and "All of Me" by John Legend (lots of high singing and drawn out notes).
Here is a sample of Boston's singing, ignore the annoying parents in the background :).

He is a busy, busy little boy who keeps me laughing and on my toes all day. I'm so grateful he is mine! Here are some of his 18 month pictures, taken even though he was not very happy to hold still(ish) and have his picture taken.

This is the chair I refinished to match the one used past pictures (the friend who took his other pictures moved away).

We also used Boston's 18 month pictures to announce some big news for the Phelps family :)
